about

Nisha makes her home in the San Francisco Bay area and is very much influenced by the urban and nature scape of her geography.  Her watercolor and acrylic paintings are eclectic in both style and subject, ranging from realism to abstraction, from florals to food to a reinterpreted wet evening in the Noe Valley district of San Francisco. She is a fan of Diebenkorn and Rothko, feeling that geometry, color, and composition go a long way to capture what is seen and felt.  Nisha’s training as a public interest attorney makes her a discerning critic of distilling things down to their essence in her practice of law, which also informs how she approaches the canvas. She hopes that you enjoy your journey through her paintings.
